Postpartum Support Services

I offer a variety of support services personalized for each client.  Each session is a one-on-one, hands-on meeting (with the option of Zoom if needed).  Pricing is dependent on the services you chose and the number of consults. Consultations range from a one time, 2 hour consult, to ongoing, daily meetings after the baby is born.

It is possible to purchase a bank of hours to use within the first 6 months after birth. The perfect gift for a new mom, or for yourself!

Postpartum and Newborn Care

Postpartum support and newborn care is based around supporting you and your baby in any way you need. By offering postpartum support, my goal is to reduce any stress, and help build your confidence with your newest addition.

As a professional, trained in newborn care and currently completing my certification as a  lactation consultant, I will help you to gain confidence with, and an understanding of, your baby. All sessions are hands-on covering topics ranging from:

  • Recognizing the signs of postpartum depression/anxiety (PPD/PPA), the baby blues and postpartum mood disorders presenting in partners;

  • Bath, swaddling, comforting, umbilical care and everything in between;

  • Safe sleep practices and wake-windows;

  • Baby wearing (practicing with wraps and carriers);

  • Understanding your baby's cues and feeding needs (breastfeeding/bottle feeding support).

I believe in providing evidence-based information on feedings, soothing your infant, emotional and physical needs while recovering from childbirth, and many other important topics.

Night Nanny

Like all my services, night shifts are specialized to your families needs. One of the hardest parts of being a new parent is the lack of sleep and trying to function while exhausted is hard. This is where some night relief can make a huge difference.

If you are bottle feeding then you simply hand over the baby and get a good night's rest. I handle the rest: feeding, changing, burping and settling back to sleep.

If you are breastfeeding then I will bring the baby to you when it is time to eat and assist with latching and positioning during the nursing session if needed. Once the baby is done eating you go back to sleep and I take over again with burping, changing and settling.

A standard night shift is from 10:00pm to 6:00am.

Cost: 1000 NIS / night

Mommy Time Group Sessions

This is not your typical Mommy & Me meet-up group - this group is about you, mama. It is about the highs and lows of motherhood, sleepless nights, and constant feedings. It is a chance to get to know other moms going through the same things as you, and having a safe space for open and honest conversations. Oh, yeah, and the babies will be there too (because you can’t leave them at home yet).

Each session will cover a different topic driven by the group, for example:

  • Expectation vs. Reality of becoming a mom

  • What is “self-care” look like now

  • Relationships - esp. with your partner

This is a rare time of having your hands free to drink a hot coffee and eat a snack, while your baby interacts with other babies. At the end of every session I make sure there is time to discuss any concerns or issues you may be having, from breastfeeding to sleep and everything in between.
